Our Story

Founded in London in 2014, N.Rollinson jewellery has grown into an award-winning contemporary fine jewellery practice, creating pieces defined by clarity of form, considered craftsmanship, and enduring design. The atelier is now based within Belfast Castle, set beneath Cavehill and surrounded by woodland, gardens, and views across Belfast Lough - an evocative new home that quietly shapes the rhythm of the work made here.

Inspired by the geometry of the natural world, works explore balance, proportion, and form through an understated design language.

Each piece is handcrafted in responsibly sourced precious metals and gemstones, combining traditional and contemporary goldsmithing techniques and finished with meticulous attention to detail.

Created in small collections, limited editions, and one-of-a-kind designs, the focus remains on intention - on making pieces that are carefully resolved, long-lasting, and deeply considered.

Whether you're browsing for a special something, celebrating a milestone or beginning a bespoke commission, you'll be welcomed into the atelier to explore the collections, discover the making process and receive thoughtful, personal guidance within one of Northern Ireland's most iconic settings. Housed within Belfast Castle, the studio offers a unique destination where craftsmanship, heritage and contemporary design come together.

After more than fifteen years refining my craft across Ireland and the UK, I returned to Belfast to establish my atelier. Trained in traditional goldsmithing, my work has been exhibited and recognised internationally, and is expressed through both contemporary collections and a commission-based practice creating pieces of personal significance.

Jewellery, for me, exists between the everyday and the meaningful - becoming part of how life is lived, marked, and remembered. My hope is that each piece becomes deeply personal to its wearer : something to be worn, treasured, and passed on.
